Evening Gentlemen,
A pretty good day at Long Reef yesterday. The rain held off, no wind and a course in great condition. For those of us that enjoy a slow green we were extremely happy. Probably the slowest we’ve played on for quite a while.
We played the quarter final of the club championships. Ian Prohm beat Rob Langer 1 up. San beat Paul 4 & 2 to keep the dream alive. Roger beat Les 1 up and I knocked off Steve 3 & 1. That sets up semi finals between San and Ian and I will play Roger.
The day was won by Gary with 37 points from Matt also on 37 . Adam Preston came in 3rd with 36. Some pretty good scoring all round actually with 15th place scoring 30 points.
Nearest the pins went to Matt on the 2nd and Bill on the 13th.
The next game will be at Mona Vale on September 16 at 7.41 am.
We had a good turn out last Thursday at the bowling club. If you get the chance come up for a drink and some highly intelligent conversation.
Jason.
