Evening Gentlemen,

A pretty good day at Long Reef yesterday. The rain held off, no wind and a course in great condition. For those of us that enjoy a slow green we were extremely happy. Probably the slowest we’ve played on for quite a while.

We played the quarter final of the club championships. Ian Prohm beat Rob Langer 1 up. San beat Paul 4 & 2 to keep the dream alive. Roger beat Les 1 up and I knocked off Steve 3 & 1. That sets up semi finals between San and Ian and I will play Roger.

The day was won by Gary with 37 points from Matt also on 37 . Adam Preston came in 3^rd with 36. Some pretty good scoring all round actually with 15^th place scoring 30 points.

Nearest the pins went to Matt on the 2^nd and Bill on the 13^th.

The next game will be at Mona Vale on September 16 at 7.41 am.

We had a good turn out last Thursday at the bowling club. If you get the chance come up for a drink and some highly intelligent conversation.
