Afternoon all,

What a great day at Mona Vale today. After 2 weeks of high temperatures and humidity it was a joy to show up to golf wearing a jacket this morning. A bit breezy to start but otherwise great conditions for golf. Again the course was great and ready for some good golf.

22 golfers showed up with 7 shooting their handicap or better. The average score today was a very respectable 33. Not a bad result.

We welcomed a guest today, welcome Warren. You look like you will fit right in. except for 1 thing. Your golf. Warren shot an 8 over off the stick today which was a pretty fair effort. We hope you’ll be joining us again.

The day today was won by Richard with 43 points. 25 on the back 9. A great game. Well done to Richard. 2^nd place was taken out by Ian Redfearn on 40 with Roger on 37 beating Phil and myself on a countback.

Nearest the pins were won by Les on the 2^nd and Crawford on the 14^th.

Our next game will be in 2 weeks on Jan 20 at Long Reef at 7 am. If you didn’t get your name on the sheet let me know and I’ll get your name down.
