Bayview - 27th October

Afternoon gentlemen,

It was an absolutely perfect day at Bayview today. The weather was great and the course was as good as I’ve seen it.

We had 19 starters with 2 guests of Warrens joining us today. Welcome to Dirk and Hunter.

Scoring wasn’t great across the board today with an average score of just 28 points. Perhaps the fast greens had something to do with it. Or perhaps the fact we had 4 or 5 Englishmen playing still under the weather from the celebrations of last night that bought the average down.

We had only 3 scores above 36 today. I finished 3rd with 39 beaten by Adam on 41 and Roger on 42. Well played to Roger winning the day and another silver medal.

Nearest the pins were taken out by Werner on the 8th and Steve on the 16th.

Our next game is at Wakehurst on November 10 at 7am. It is the gold medal playoff game. We will be staying at Wakehurst after the game for presentations and lunch due to the grand opening of the new bowling club.
