Hi Golfers

One would have to say the nicest weather day for golf we have had in a long while, course in fantastic condition.   Water dragons out and about  Turtles basking in the sun along the dam wall  golfers merrily frolicking and gambolling around the course

 Aaaahhhhh  what a life

Only 14 starters on the day  would seem that the old boys trip to Lemon Tree Passage was too much for them to play again on Sunday, hope you all had a good trip.

Kicking off the day we had Matthew Brown playing against Adam Baker for a spot against Rob Preston in the Club Championship final.

Adam won the day pretty sure it was 5 and 4    congratulations Mr Baker

That will leave third place to be contested between Richard and Matt.

On the stableford side of things  Adam (the hammer) Baker  won the day again with 40 points  another silver medal ( the day will come when he has played enough games and studied enough books that the handicap system will adjust him)  make the most of it matey.

Second place to  Bill “has Ponting got his hundred yet” Walburn with a creditable 34  beating yours truly,  your favourite treasurer 34

Just out of the money Steve “what heritage am I really” Joyce with 31  and the crowd fell away after that.

 Score range 40-16

Nearest the pin 5th hole went to Hans “are my pants red enough”Weitmann

Nearest the pin 13th hole went Adam”anything else I can win today” Baker

 Special mention for

Carl “the Manchurian” Walker who had 21  points being delighted to score with his first day on an AGU handicap , keep swinging easy Carl you will only improve from here.

Remember to register online for the next game at Derek Pugh’s Kooindah Waters course at Wyong, event is a 2 ball  Aggregate   pick your own partner, or we will assign you one in need . a great course so get you name in.

 Yours in Golfing
