Golfers,
Quite a challenging day at Warringah today for most of us. Only 3 of 27 players playing to or under their handicap. Even with the luxury of preferred lies most of us still couldn’t quite get the job done.
Well done to Charles who shot a brilliant 42 points 3 clear of Roger on 39 and Ian Redfearn on 35.
That was it for scores over 36 points. 15th place was taken out by Dan on 26 which I’m sure even he wouldn’t have thought would have had him receive a point today. [he got me on a countback]
Today was a secret draw partners which was taken out by Charles and a very lucky Steve Joyce on 73 points ahead of Keith and Henry on 61 who beat Jason and Ian Redfearn also on 61.
Nearest the pins were won by Richard on the 12th and Henry with the last shot of the day on the 17th.
I think Warringah is actually a far more challenging course than we all give it credit for. It seems so simple until our golf gets in the way.
