It was a great day out at Kooindah today. The weather was great, a gentle breeze which picked up as the day went on and a brilliant course. It’s a challenging course but a decent score was achievable if you kept the ball in play. This was a far better performance all round than our last few games with todays average score just on 32 points. We had 11 of 19 score 30 or better and 4 players scoring 36 or better.

Today was a pairs aggregate event with myself and Adam Baker taking out the day on 72 points just 1 point ahead of the Preston brothers on 71. Ian Preston and Werner came in 3rd with 68. The rest of the teams in order were Gary and Richard on 61, Ian Redfearn and David on 57,

Ben and Ian Salatnay on 55, Carl and Alex on 54, Ben and Hans on 54, Steve and Rob Langer on 53, Dave and Dan on 51 and Hans and Ian Salatnay on 44.

Nearest the pins were won by Adam Preston on the 12th and Rob Preston on the 17th. For once the jackpot didn’t go off.

Individually the silver medal was won by me on 39 just 1 point ahead of Rob Preston on 38 with Ian Preston taking out 3rd on a countback from Carl on 37.

It was a great day at a great club.
