Morning all.

We had a pretty tough day out at Mona Vale on Sunday. The course was set up for a pennants game and this proved a bit much for most of us. The greens were quick and the pin placements were unkind to say the least.

We recorded our lowest average score for a round in quite some time. Just 24.9 points. As I said at the presentation, I always knew I was an average golfer, and coming in with 25 on the day this was finally proven.

We had scores ranging from 7 points to one golfer only who scored 36. Well played John taking out the silver medal. Well played again Werner coming in with 34 and Warren with 32. Alex and Bob were the only 2 other golfers to score 30 or better.

Nearest the pins were won by John on the 16th and Steve on the 2nd. The jackpot was claimed for the 2nd time in 3 rounds. Well done Tim.

Our next game is on March 22. This is the Bodega Cup and will be played at Shelly Beach. This is a draw partners event and the draw will be done at the club on the Thursday before the game. There’s not many names on the sheet so let me know if you are going to make it. It would be nice to see some of our out of town members there.
