Morning all,

We had a game at Wakehurst on Sunday. Conditions were hard. It was a hot, humid day and we played the course from white markers that were set back as far as they could be. This made for a very long course and quite a challenging day on an always challenging course.

Scores across the board were down on our last game but still a respectable average of just over 30 was scored which was a pretty good effort from 21 starters.

We played a 2 ball multiplier and the day was won convincingly by Werner and Les on 81 points 18 points clear of second place getters Tim and Rob Preston on 63. 3rd place was taken out by Gary and Ian Redfearn on 61. No other team managed to crack 50 points.

Individually Werner came out on top on 38, 3 points clear of Les, Rob, Alex and Ian on 35.

Nearest the pins were taken out by me on the 5th and Ian on the 16th. The jackpot has gone off with Slats claiming the prize on the 13th.

Our next game is at Asquith on Feb 16 and will be teeing off at 7.12 am.

Let me know if you’re name is not on the list and you are keen for a game.
